Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts
Lyric Opera performs at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts for all mainstage productions. Located at the northwest corner of Broadway and 16th Streets in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, the Kauffman Center can easily be accessed via numerous routes.
The Arts District parking garage, immediately south of – and connected to – the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, is the primary parking garage for Lyric Opera patrons. Event parking is $13 per car. Additional neighboring lots charge $5 to $10 to park. Street parking is metered but not enforced after 6 p.m., so arrive early to acquire those spots. Pre-purchased parking is available up until 10pm the day before the event. Pre-purchase parking here.
A benefit of being a subscriber is having the option of purchasing a season parking pass that will secure a space in the Arts District garage. A parking pass with a subscription only costs $52 for the season.
Accessible Parking
Two drop-off areas allow guests to easily access the center: one on 16th Street to the north, and another from the private drive just south of the building. Handicapped parking spots in the Arts District Garage are close to building access points; pathways are well-marked and ample. The garage provides sheltered access and is connected to the Kauffman Center on the south. The Kauffman Center has elevator access to all levels.

Lyric Opera of Kansas City
The Lyric Opera of Kansas City Richard J. Stern Opera Center is located at 1725 Holmes St., in the East Crossroad of downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The Opera Center includes the Michael and Ginger Frost Production Arts Building and the Beth Ingram Administrative Building. Parking is available to the public off of Holmes St., just north of 18th St.
