Renowned soprano Renée Fleming will visit Kansas City in September 2024 to appear in Lyric Opera of Kansas City's season-opening production, The Brightness of Light. She will sign copies of her new book, Music and Mind: Harnessing the Arts for Health and Wellness, after this event:
The Brightness of Light (Friday only)

Note: there will not be a signing after the performance on Sunday, September 29.
THE BRIGHTNESS OF LIGHT (FRIDAY ONLY) BOOK SIGNING DETAILS:
- Participants who have attended the Friday evening performance of The Brightness of Light may participate in the book signing after the performance.
- After the performance, please proceed to the Center Mezzanine Lobby (Level 5) of the Kauffman Center to join the book signing line.
- Participants must show a book or CD to be admitted to the book signing queue.

Pre-ordering Music and Mind: Harnessing the Arts for Health and Wellness is encouraged, as only a limited number of copies will be available at each event. Pre-ordered copies can be picked up in advance at Rainy Day Books, or at the respective event.
Please note:
- Tickets for the event are required to participate in the book signing.
- Ms. Fleming will also sign copies of her book, The Inner Voice: The Making of a Singer, and CDs featuring her performances.
- Participants must show their book or CD to be admitted to the signing.
- Ms. Fleming will offer a standard signature and welcomes candid, non-posed photography.
