Opera rehearsals are generally not open to everyone, but Julius Ahn gives us a look behind the curtain at rehearsals held in our Michael & Ginger Frost Production Center in mid-October. Julius debuts with Lyric Opera in one of his signature roles, as Goro in our November 2018 production of Madama Butterfly. This internationally acclaimed Korean-American tenor, who has been lauded as “brilliant” [Broadway World] and praised for his “golden-toned” voice [San Francisco Chronicle] with “unexpected stentorian power” [Boston Phoenix], is also a photographer. More about Julius at JuliusAhn.com.
