Fogel has been the Head of Stage Movement and Choreography at The Glimmerglass Festival for fifteen years, and in 2025, directed a new production of The Rake's Progress. He is also a Guest Stage Director on staff at the Metropolitan Opera, where he served as revival director for The Magic Flute and Norma. He recently directed two new productions of The Barber of Seville at Opera Theatre of St. Louis and Songbird for Washington National Opera. He also choreographed new productions of Tannhäuser at Houston Grand Opera, and The Gershwins®' Porgy and Bess at Washington National Opera.
Additional Kennedy Center credits include Samson and Delilah; Don Giovanni; Candide; West Side Story; The Little Prince; Florencia en el Amazonas; The Lion, The Unicorn, and Me; and La forza del destino.
