SEASON TICKETS
Our season ticket packages are an incredible way to reserve the best seats in the house at the lowest prices! Season ticket holders save up to 20% compared to single-ticket pricing.
Season Ticket Payment Plans
We offer payment plans on our season ticket packages, so the cost of your tickets can be paid in smaller, monthly payments that better fit your budget. To subscribe with a payment plan, contact Ticketing & Patron Services at (816) 471-7344.
GROUP DISCOUNTS
Groups of ten (10) or more may be eligible for discounts on single tickets at 25% off the regular rate.*
- Attend a free Pre-Opera Talk fifty minutes before the curtain of all mainstage performances
- Purchase drinks and snacks at the bar in Brandmeyer Hall before curtain and intermission

STUDENT AND EDUCATOR RUSH TICKETS
Rush tickets can be purchased up to two weeks before select performances or in person on the performance day at the Box Office window, ninety minutes before the performance. Tickets are $31.50 total, after fees. Rush tickets are for mainstage performances only and are subject to availability.
TeenTix KC
TeenTix KC pass holders may purchase one $5 ticket and one $5 companion ticket in person on the day of the show by visiting the box office up to ninety minutes before the performance. Payment can be made using either card or cash, and tickets are subject to availability. To check ticket availability in advance, pass holders may call Lyric Opera of Kansas City at (816) 471-7344.
MILITARY DISCOUNTS
Current and retired military members can utilize a 20% ticket discount for mainstage performances, not valid on season tickets. Additional discount details:
- Patrons using this discount must present a valid military ID upon ticket pick-up.
- Reservations made with this discount are limited to four (4) tickets per transaction.
- Reservations must be made by phone at (816) 471-7344 or in person at the Kauffman Center box office up to ninety minutes prior to showtime.
The drop
Lyric Opera is a proud partner of The Drop—an arts and culture access program through ArtsKC. The Drop connects residents from areas with limited arts access to local arts experiences by offering discounted tickets. Qualifying members of The Drop have access to $10 tickets to select Lyric Opera performances.
EMPLOYER SHARE
Employees of eligible corporate partners pay just 50% of the single ticket or subscription cost, and your employer pays the rest! To inquire, contact Ticketing & Patron Services at patronservices@kcopera.org or (816) 471-7344.

community ticket donation request
Each season, we are pleased to offer donated tickets for nonprofit organizations and charity events to support fundraising events and activities.
We have reached the ticket donation limit for the 2025–2026 season. Please check back in spring of 2026 for the 2026–2027 donation form.
