Kate Ashton Lighting Designer, recently worked on productions such as A Thousand Acres and Wozzeck (Des Moines Metro Opera), Elizabeth Cree (The Glimmerglass Festival), Hometown to the World (Santa Fe Opera), Cinderella and Swan Lake (Ballet West), The Sleeping Beauty (The Washington Ballet), Josephine and I (The Public Theater), Tales of Hoffman (Aspen Music Festival), Tango Song & Dance (Kennedy Center), Death of a Salesman (Theatre Mitu/Brooklyn Academy of Music), and over thirty productions at The Juilliard School, including The Turn of the Screw and La clemenza di Tito. Kate is the Lighting Director for the Fall for Dance Festival at New York City Center and has designed pieces for the festival including Christopher Wheeldon’s The Two of Us. She earned her Bachelor of Art from College of William & Mary, and her Master of Fine Art from New York University, and is a member of United Scenic Artists. www.kateashtonlighting.com
