Spring is approaching, and with it, the major opera event of the season: The Shining! The Shining: From Book to Opera
We are proud to partner with The Kansas City Public Library for a pop-up book club exploring Stephen King’s 1977 novel. Join opera composer Paul Moravec and librettist Mark Campbell for a discussion of the book, The Shining, and how it made the leap from the page to the stage. The Lyric Opera Circle presents the 2023 Lyric Opera Ball on April 1 in the beautiful Grand Ballroom at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center.
