American designer Mark McCullough (Lighting Designer) has worked on shows such as Fidelio, Die Walküre, The Gershwins®' Porgy and Bess, Das Rheingold, Rigoletto, Siegfried, Salome, Hamlet, Don Pasquale, Nabucco, Anna Bolena, and Show Boat. He has illuminated the stages of the Metropolitan Opera, Washington National Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Teatro Real in Madrid, Royal Opera House, Opera national du Rhin, Opera North, The Dallas Opera, and Opera de Montreal, as well as productions with The Glimmerglass Festival, San Francisco Opera (including the full Ring directed by Francesca Zambello), Lyric Opera of Chicago, New York City Opera, and Seattle Opera. Broadway productions include After Miss Julie, The American Plan, and Jesus Christ Superstar (revival). His creations have also been seen Off-Broadway and in regional theater companies nationwide. He is an alumnus of the North Carolina School of the Arts and holds a master of fine arts from the Yale School of Drama.
