Founded in 1987, the Lyric Opera Circle is a group of community women whose purpose is to support Lyric Opera of Kansas City through advocacy in our community and by hosting the annual Lyric Opera Ball. Throughout its history, this philanthropic event has raised over $16.5 million to help underwrite world-class Lyric Opera productions. Lyric Opera Circle membership is by invitation only.
Lyric Opera Circle Ball: Classically Opera
Please join us on April 5, 2025 for the annual Lyric Opera Ball held at the Loews Kansas City Hotel. We are excited to announce the theme, Classically Opera – A Black and White Ball. This will be an elegant evening, including famous opera melodies, an exclusive auction, exquisite dinner, and dancing to the band Lost Wax.
