At Under the Tuscan Moon, immerse yourself in an evening of cocktail conversation, fabulous cuisine and wine, beautiful music performed by Lyric Opera resident artists, and dancing to the Lost Wax band. A beautifully curated auction will offer opportunities to bid on exciting travel packages, unique experiences, and one-of-a-kind treasures.
This year’s ball is especially meaningful as we celebrate the fifteen-year legacy of Deborah Sandler Kemper, CEO and general director of Lyric Opera of Kansas City. Throughout her tenure, Deborah has made an extraordinary contribution to Kansas City’s performing arts community, elevating Lyric Opera to greater regional, national, and international prominence. The best way to support the Lyric Opera Ball is by becoming a benefactor! Anyone who sponsors the ball at $875 or more receive special ball-related perks, depending on their sponsorship level. Benefactors who sponsor the ball at the Arezzo level or higher also become Lyric Opera Angels, and receive benefits throughout the Lyric Opera season!

About the Lyric Opera Circle Ball
Since its debut in 1987, the annual Lyric Opera Ball, presented by the Lyric Opera Circle, has celebrated the vital role of Lyric Opera of Kansas City in our community’s cultural fabric. The Ball has become one of Kansas City’s premier social and philanthropic events. Each year, it brings together arts lovers and civic leaders in support of the company’s acclaimed productions, transformative education programs, and far-reaching community engagement initiatives.
