In just under a month, we will close out our season with Of Mice and Men—Carlisle Floyd's operatic adaptation of John Steinbeck's novella. Floyd's sweeping opera captures the suspense and heartbreak of this story in a way Musical America described as “more powerful a realization of Steinbeck’s story than either the original short novel or the play subsequently made from it.” Don't miss this gritty portrait of the American experience! 🖼️
